Winslow CE School is a two form entry school in the small market town of Winslow on the border of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes with easy access to Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.  Our children come from both the town and the surrounding villages and we pride ourselves on aiming for nothing short of outstanding outcomes for all pupils.  Our vision is ‘Let your light shine’ and our school logo is the rainbow which symbolises God’s unconditional love for every individual.  We reflect that light in everything we do and our five Christian values drive our approach.

In January 2025 we welcomed Ofsted Inspectors who were impressed with the transition the school has made since the last inspection.  Every category was graded as ‘good’ and key comments from the report included:

Our school community is welcoming and very friendly and staff are exceptionally supportive both to each other and our pupils.  We have an effective and approachable Senior Leadership Team who are committed to excellence in education by providing an enriching, stimulating and enjoyable curriculum.  They also work closely with all staff to encourage development and ensure individual wellbeing.

Our school has a large outdoor space with separate playgrounds, a large sports field and a musical woodland.  Inside, we boast a large and well-equipped library that helps encourage a love of reading as well as nurturing spaces and large classroom areas.  Our children are happy, respectful and demonstrate a real love of learning.
