At Winslow CE School we encourage the development of inquisitive and curious minds that are inspired by the modern world of design and technology through opportunities to create, innovate, develop and produce outcomes in all areas of the Design and Technology curriculum. 

Opportunities to use knowledge from other curriculum areas is encouraged, so that pupils can appreciate how the design process is influenced by mathematical concepts, scientific knowledge and the creativity of minds that continue to inspire designers of the modern world. Our aim is to empower each individual with skills and knowledge that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. 

In order to ensure progression of knowledge and skills for Design and Technology, we follow the Kapow scheme of work.  The progression grids are available to view at school as the documents cannot be published on other websites.
